I’m not an Arab (pt.2)

I’m not an Arab. Because if I were an Arab I would have to Muslim, I would have to wear the Hijab and pray five times a day.

I’m not an Arab. If I were an Arab I would have to speak Arabic all the time and even write this post in Arabic, like all Arabs.

I’m not an Arab. If I were an Arab I would have to love Arabic music and dance very well at weddings.

I’m not an Arab. If I were an Arab I would have to be a savage like all Arabs you see on your media.

I’m not an Arab. If I were an Arab I would have to have the overwhelming hospitality that Arabs are famous for.

I’m not an Arab. If I were an Arab I would be an extremely traditional person.

I’m not an Arab. If I were an Arab I would be very beautiful.

I’m not an Arab. If I were an Arab I would be elegant and pure.

I’m sick of stereotypes.
